STUDY IN THE WORKPLACE – THEORY COURSES IN LONDON – THEORY COURSES IN KENT

If you work in a medium or large company, either in London or Kent, we can provide a training course for you and your colleagues at your offices. This can be in the evenings, as a series of weekends or even in a format to suit you.
All you need is access to a suitable room (with a projection screen or wall and desk space for everyone to work on charts) and a few other interested people. This is a highly cost and time effective solution for busy people, the arrangements are very easy, the evenings are interesting and fun and the organiser can enjoy a free training course.

The following RYA courses are available this way:
Day Skipper Theory – Navigation, pilotage, weather, rules of the road, safety and seamanship for yacht skippers. 7 evenings and one weekend or 3 weekends
Coastal Skipper/Yachtmaster Theory – Advanced navigation, meteorology, safety and seamanship for yacht skippers. 7 evenings and one weekend or 3 weekends
Marine VHF Radio Short Range Certificate Course. 2 evenings or one weekend day
NB Intensive courses in all subjects are also available in our own classrooms close by our marina base at Chatham in Kent – just 45 minutes from central London. Details

RYA Day Skipper Theory Course at your offices.
Cost: £299 per person including all study materials plus £25 per person for plotter and dividers. Reduced charge to the organiser - just £99 to cover materials. No cost to the company unless it chooses to subsidise the training.
Time: One evening per week (any day) for 7 weeks then one weekend. Hours are typically 6.30pm to 9.30pm each evening (flexible) and 9.30am to 4pm at the weekend.
Organisation: You call us on 01634 890512 or email dave@elitesailing.co.uk to discuss dates and arrangements. We can send an instructor to discuss details with you. We supply copy for you to post on your noticeboards or intranet. If there is sufficient interest we confirm the course and handle all the paperwork direct with each student. You just book the room. We take care of everything else and deliver an interesting and enjoyable training course.
This is a great way to learn a fascinating new subject in company with like-minded people. After the course you can go on to complete the practical training aboard our yachts at Chatham and become qualified to charter a yacht with friends.
