Race Training Weekends
These weekends are a great way to extend your sailing skills, learn how to become an effective crew member on a racing yacht, experience the excitement of yacht racing, or just enjoy a great escape from the normal toil. Cruising sailors can learn how to fly a spinnaker (without too much stress!). You don't need much sailing experience and even complete novices can get involved and enjoy the exhilaration. You can come as an individual, or make a up a party. The sessions start first thing Saturday morning at Chatham Marina. After intensive training all day we return to the marina for debrief and dinner ashore. On Sunday we measure ourselves against the competition in a real club race of about 3 hours. The yacht will be a race-prepared Jeanneau 35 or perhaps a Bavaria 46. Maximum crew are 6 for the Jeanneaus and 8 for the Bavaria. The instructor will be an experienced racing skipper with the skill, patience and humour to make the most of your weekend.
Price: £195 per person.
This

A berth on the yacht on Saturday night (Friday night too if
you wish)
