Get away with us for an early Spring Milebuilder. Escape from your shore-side cares and winter woes and breathe the fresh sea air and freedom. Cruise down the historic River Medway to Queenborough and early next day catch the tide along the North Kent coast. Sail out of the Thames Estuary, past historic forts and across the famous Dover Strait to visit one or two French ports. The choice lies anywhere between Dunkirk to the North through Gravelines or Calais to Boulogne. The plan will depend on the wind and tides and you can help to make the decisions. If winds and sea state make France unsuitable we will still make good use of the time to make passage to a worthwhile destination on the UK side. On the Sunday it will be an early start for the return passage to Chatham. This is a superb sailing experience – great for refreshing skills, miles and qualifying passages for the log book – and fun and adventure too!
