Combined Day Skipper Theory and Practical at Chatham:
9 Days (Theory: Sat to Tue 0900 – 1700 in classroom. Practical: 1800 Tue – 1500 Sunday on the yacht)   Full details here.

What’s Included

For all course formats the following items are included in the price:  RYA Study Pack including practice charts, exercises, RYA Course Notes booklet and a USB Stick with answers to the RYA exercises and a complete animated course presentations so you can study effectively at home.

Navigation Instruments

You will need a Portland Plotter and Dividers.   For classroom courses at Chatham we make these available free of charge on loan.  For Distance Learning or classroom sessions you can add these to the order – £25 and we will send them to you with the study pack.

Previous Knowledge/Experience

None essential but some boating experience (eg a competent crew course or helmsman course) is desirable.  Some prior reading recommended or completion of Essential Navigation and Seamanship course.

Age

There is no minimum or maximum age limit.
